Vybecode LTD ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates the VybeCode UI web application and desktop application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

• Purchase information: When you buy the Desktop App, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your email address and payment details. We receive your email address and a record of the transaction. We do not store or have access to your full credit card number.
• Contact form submissions: If you contact us through our website, we receive your name, email, and message content.
• Account data: If you create an account on the Web Version, we store your email and authentication credentials via Supabase.

b) Information collected automatically

• Web Version: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
• Desktop App: The Desktop App performs license verification offline. It does not phone home, track usage, or collect telemetry. The auto-updater checks for new versions by contacting GitHub Releases (no user data is sent).

c) Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect or transmit your plugin designs, scene data, or generated C++ code.
• We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral data from the Desktop App.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Purchase fulfillment: To create your license key and deliver the Desktop App download.
• License management: To look up your license key if you lose it (using your purchase email).
• Customer support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.
• Product updates: To notify you of important product updates or security issues (email, opt-out available).
• Refund processing: To handle refund requests and deactivate associated licenses.

3. Data Storage and Security

Purchase records are stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. License keys are generated by Keygen.sh and verified offline using Ed25519 cryptography. We use HTTPS for all web communications.

We use the following third-party services:

5. Data Retention

We retain your purchase records (email, license ID, transaction ID) for as long as your license is active, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting purposes. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Cookies

The Web Version uses only essential cookies required for authentication (session cookies via Supabase). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. The marketing website (this site) uses no cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data for specific purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

VybeCode UI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
